they have yeah you know what a lot of people say you know what’s because we were just talking about going up and doing some TV in New York and I was like
any time many because I was trying to fit in my schedule we should go up there like on an off day fly and I was like
it’s way more people in meet and greets are out in public or on Broadway say we
know you from this oh really no one has ever said like we know you from laughs on Fox
we saw you on Theo’s pod we saw you on Nate’s pod we saw you on Santino’s pod we saw way to attack my only credit John
yeah come on no no but that’s true I mean yeah we’re it’s like were you on last no no no I couldn’t make it I
thought you meant this podcast yeah that is yeah laughs I remember that
oh you remember that one yeah what about the one the dusty was on there actually yeah yeah what about the one uh it’s on
late at night TV no yeah is it the black guys oh that’s uh he’s like so you uh
went to the mall last week what’s his name uh he’s a billionaire Comics Unleashed yeah
he is a guy made a billion I think he owns The Weather Channel yeah he owns the weather he he’s uh Comics Unleashed
yes yeah yeah and I’ve done comedy.tv was another thing he produced but Comics
unleashes notoriously known for uh have we talked about it on here I don’t think so it was like everybody knows what it
if they don’t know the name they know what Comics Unleashed so if you ever watch it comes on it’s like in a hotel I
think ABC or something at like late at night I’m on the comment on TV uh it was
on CBS originally or it’s syndicated yeah yeah yeah so uh Byron Allen a
brilliant dude uh and he uh he’s a comedian uh uh and he uh iron Allen
folks yeah oh yeah that’s his last name dude uh so who is
that Brian out Byron Allen folks Byron Allen folks yeah uh so yeah 62 which is insane he’s very
young to I mean that guy has been successful for a long time I remember
him on real people 40 years ago yeah it was a show in NBC he was one of the correspondents but what did before would
do people ever say years ago we knew thanks him sound older are you
both did people ever say like we I oh I’m I know you from like uh Comedy
Central uh no The Comedy Central would have been I’m trying to think when I got on Comedy
Central I think County Central was still kind of like people are still kind of watching it yeah yeah but you would
never sell a club out like but you would from it it’s all like uh I think more
now it’s like kind of just like I’ve been following you since someone will be like I’ve been following you since I saw you on Comedy Central but I your amount
of fans nobody what was your premise on the when he hosts this show it’s notoriously
like he just would out of nowhere it’s like on a couch yeah and then he just goes around and so he’s setting you up
for jokes so you have a joke and let’s say John has a joke about sharks yeah and then Aaron finishes his joke about
mattresses yeah and so Aaron gets done and we’re like ah it’s great everybody John you’ve been sharp diving before and
then you’re just tease you up just out of nowhere yeah and it says the it’s
it’s yeah it’s like very fun and funny I did do it and the all the other Comics have to laugh at the other Comics yeah
yeah it’s doing radio Bob and Tom is the same like they kind of say you up and go how was school today school’s good I’ve
been going to school my daughter’s in you know you get into your job but he would just make quick it was so quick
like you know it’d be like oh that’s great he goes John you’re scared of clowns right and then you’re like what
and then you’d almost sometimes like go oh I have a clown jokes he would come at
you
because the way he would word it he was it was so good that he would sneak in
there but like that’s crazy yeah I don’t think if you’re not you’re not in comedy I don’t think you would piece this together no no that it was like choppy
even when you’re sitting there it’s hard because you’re listening to a guy talk about his dog and you’re kind of really
listening to him then out of nowhere you’re just like you sleep with a gravity Bank blanket I do what like I’ve
never oh yeah so grab me blankets what’s the deal
you get real defensive at first what’s the matter you know
uh oh I have 10 minutes you can’t get in on the other guy’s bit
right yeah you don’t go wait what there’s no like you just let him go you
because the person’s doing their act so like when you do Bob and Tom you would you’re doing your fool I’m
trying to think like uh you know I still watch it it still comes up Olivia like
my Olivia I can’t even remember how to say but like you know it’s like you play golf right you play golf right I did
play Golf the other day uh uh I was golfing I went out and I’d say Olivia and I do that joke that’s how it’s like
panel on TV well what’s the difference everything’s setting everybody up yeah truthfully like when you go do this
stuff everybody has a comic even the celebrities they’re told beforehand
unless it’s like a real real interview and you do a pre-interview uh you know
Howard Stern type interview or long interview like they would talk to you then that then the that interviewer
takes you where you want to go right yeah but other ones you say like hey I have a funny story about there it is oh
yeah I can’t find a higher resolution picture of this but here’s you on the on the panel here who is that who else was
on there it’s John Hinton I believe uh uh I know I’m blinking on her name
message Esther yeah yeah yeah and that’s the the guy from uh uh all the way all
the way on the uh what’s the comment for Super Troopers yeah I don’t know Carlos or uh uh maybe Carlos and but yeah it was
it was super fun I mean it was like I was glad to do it it is he’s done really good for Comics I mean I’m not trashy
he’s really helped a lot that guy’s a smart dude a business dude uh like we’re
I mean really brilliant I think he tried to buy the Broncos yeah I mean who
thinks to buy The Weather Channel like I mean it’s just so good and he’s like yeah yeah he would just do ads do these
things so like good for him I’m billionaire is tough yeah that’s so it’s
a thousand million yeah it is it’s a thousand million think about like
457 million yeah and then another 500 not even halfway yeah yeah yeah it’s
crazy so many millions yeah is it you drive stick shift right oh
yeah so stick shifts are crazy because yeah if I had a bit I mean it’s yeah if
John was on there he would have to lie down on the floor like hey I gotta have this can you actually I’m standing can I
have two seats yeah can I have a loveseat you have to ask for a love seat he’s like she have props
now he just needs room to lay down that stuff but it’s if it’s inside a
place like if it’s with the studio they laugh oh yeah like they just they know yeah well then the person does a joke
you know it’s it’s sitting there you couldn’t bomb on that yeah because then you just bought a pumpkin right
and then you’re
like if you turn on the hotel TV and it’s on the last Channel yeah from like the news or the game and it’s like
that’s whenever I would see it’s on every night always when I record it I have their own channel now yeah it’s
just that show well no no the show is called comedy.tv okay okay yeah yeah which I mean I have the greatest Comcast
there’s a comedy channel and it’s all just Comics Unleashed or comedy.com Comics Unleashed so I’m on comedy.tv and
uh when we recorded with uh Keith aristat he did a thing where he were uh buying our recorded just he probably
owns that oh yeah so now I guess he owns comic books so the first show is comedy dot TV again Allen Media Group that’s
crazy oh yeah no that’s him
let’s go John Roy first comment I remember him really Matt and saw when uh
and uh yeah yeah well it’s just kind of like um you
know how if you’re like we had this discussion the other day if you’re like Miss Alabama like how many years after
are you allowed to leave that in your Instagram bio well I think that just you’ve that follows you the rest of your life right
okay Miss Davis what about Miss Davidson County Miss Davidson County 1984. yeah if you’re a county I I think that’s
I don’t even know if you put it in there at the beginning yeah yeah or if you’re if you’re like
Miss yeah I mean nation’s a big County though it depends on I guess Alabama I think you know forever Miss
Alabama forever your your husband’s going to introduce you as Miss Alabama lots of credit you can have yeah can you
when do you stop with the Comics Unleashed credit is what I’m saying well you hope that you get to stop with it
that’s the key yeah but I still have them but I know it’s not in my top you get a stop when you
top it but so you gotta hope that you can you know figure out a new did you
ever have to like when you were like this podcast over of course comedy.tv like you can you gotta have something
you’ve got some comedy live but you really don’t mention that much anymore uh it doesn’t come up no I did yeah but
I had it for a while I had it for a long time you did Gotham yeah and on uh it was on uh access or whatever
Central when Louis Anderson hosts yeah uh yeah the comedy.tv I recorded my set and
I remember they kept the same audience they would pay an audience like a lot of these tapings uh so if it’s a big show
it’s I mean they don’t have to pay but when it’s not big shows so they pay an audience they recorded like nine shows I
think Whitney Cummins hosted them uh Bonnie McFarland host one too yeah and uh so by the time I went up it was
towards the end like eight shows in or something I mean this crowd is not even
paying there’s no life support yeah they would laugh why don’t you walk that they would laugh and but it was such a fake
laugh they were laughing at all the wrong part like it was a robot like
you’re not they’re just so you just couldn’t you were like well you are laughing at that then they would not and I remember just seeing one guy just with
the stairs of their face the whole show I can still see him right now he had a
big kind of long fro head hair yeah and it was like almost like uh what’s The
Simpsons uh Sideshow Bob or whatever yeah yeah his hair was like just kind of
big like that and I remember just he just said in his chair and just stay away am I here I mean it’s
like in a studio in Burbank at like 3 30 in the afternoon and he’s been there for four hours he’s gonna make eighty
dollars oh they paid the crowd yeah yeah you know when you first start taping
stuff I mean my full-time Magic on Comedy Central we the crowd was paid to
be yeah and then life Gotham would have been paid because you can’t you couldn’t have but it’s like stand up was it as
much of a draw I would think if you take that stuff now it’s a little stand up to a lot more of a draw where people are
like they know stand up is a thing to go to it’s like in that cultural lexicon stand up is yeah but then it wasn’t I
just taped a uh don’t tell comedy special that I think comes out this week it’s like a shorter
I can tell no all right but during the warm-up comedian set it was really
interesting to watch them they were looking at the crowd of like who who had just a bad face sitting up front moved
them and then right before me they took they just like picked them up and moved them to the back of the crowd somebody was laughing they looked nice you come
up and sit in the front oh yeah they did all that yeah first rule of roadside beat sales what’s that Dwight Schrute
remember when he they had that press conference and he moved the Phyllis and Stanley
who’s the hot girls up front that’s what they did for sure we did that in our in our spec when that guy we could do promo
in our show and I was like hey get like like Attractive people laughing like
this is what you say to the crowded [Laughter]
from my video guys like it like I don’t know is that is that a bad thing to say no
it’s it is what it is it’s videos it’s TV it’s like that’s everything’s gonna
do it you just want people laughing but yeah my buddy up in uh is one of my best friend’s buddy I think in Chicago he
went to a comedy show and then they were like filming it and he was like laughing
at like another joke that wasn’t that joke and then they put him in laughing
at that joke and I think he got fired from his job no he’s in the Crowd Oh because you go
to the crowd shots and it was like some kind of topic that was like way like very inflammatory and they took a laugh
from his other time from like and I think he got fired from his job whoa
[Laughter] well they would when you would do specials
I’m laughing at probably a regular joke yeah like I wasn’t even there for that it was that was last Tuesday
when you did a half hour comes into they would they would edit it sometimes weird
because the person that would not care so you would like have a you could have a call there’s Comics that would have a
callback but they don’t ever play The Original Part so you could just be at the towards the
interstate you see him go bananas and everybody’s like wow and at home people are like what because
they missed the beginning that said hey something about banana some pictures at home you’re like what I’m talking about
but the guy that the guy that probably edited it like didn’t you don’t get to say yeah they don’t get they don’t ask
you they would come out and say uh right when you got done I mean I remember taping it dude you walk uh me and
Chelsea Peretti take the same night together and we when right when you walk out I don’t know that they’re even gonna
do this they go uh it’s so just kind of businessy I mean they were very like
these were big moments my life but someone just comes over because you just met with like I can’t believe on TV I
can’t believe I’m doing this Comedy Central presents like I’ve watched these it’s crazy and you get done do it you walk like oh man that went crazy and
someone’s like rank your jokes one through ten and I’m like one a guy with a clipboard yeah yeah and he’s like just rank them and I mean you gotta rank them
before you get to the other side of the stage wow like kind of just being like all right I want this one for sure you
know but you kind of it is probably the best time to ask I think I would have liked and he just said beforehand hey
afterwards uh you know you remember what jokes you think like just say or we’re gonna send you a raw like Dropbox on
tomorrow just send us back how do they Dropbox was invented dude what do you think if 2010 no what do you think the
average person with the prime talked about this before what do you think the average person thinks you would get paid to be on The Tonight Show like 10 grand
20 grand uh I don’t know now that Tonight Show like a band if like
I don’t know I I there’s part of me honestly that things people might think
you don’t get paid just because oh yeah maybe it’s you’re going on to advertise
yeah like you’re selling your show you know whatever you think yeah but if you’re a comic you get paid I think you
get paid like twelve hundred dollars you get paid whatever the union thing is
not filming right now yeah yeah and it has been for a long time
but they’re but it’s still on they’re doing reruns right but it’s like from a different time I
mean most people like I did a cone because it doesn’t matter I did a Conan I had TV credits and still had a day job
like I did I had a live Gotham because a lot of Gotham you’ve made 600 bucks yeah yeah I think we made 15.
yeah maybe but it was but it was like whatever you make but you’d have to go because then you’re like man oh my gosh
what if I get yeah I did Conan just go back to your regular job the next day and you and then you’re like gosh
someone’s going right you just think someone’s gonna recognize hey were you on Conan last night and you’re just we’re in the street like in the Subway
or something no I thought that at my job I had one job where I worked in the
Kravitz Center I think this is called in New York and I was just I had a t-shirt
that like a question mark on it and my you worked conventions so someone’s supposed to just come up to you and be like hey do you know where the bathroom
is do you know where this is at and you just serve there it is the point of this stuff and so it was like I was doing that like after and I remember just all
day I was like I was on TV last night and not one person asked me if I was on
TV later they asked you where the bathroom was not one person hey if you were on the TV were you on TV yeah what
You do comedy full time?
oh yeah I’ll guess I’ll always get asked this probably my entire life but this weekend I had a great set got off stage
and the guys said now do you do comedy full-time oh really yeah I’ve always
been asked that I thought it would go away I like that I like that yeah when you get asked because they don’t assume
they think you’re like dumb I don’t I don’t mind that at all you don’t mind people thinking you’re dumb
no they’re just thinking the unassuming about like what we do yeah I don’t have any problem with that really there’s
like like if you interesting we’re I’m in the perfect position if you think that I do other stuff
because you don’t want people to like because it makes you look like uh it probably a regular show your kid yeah I
think it hurts more for someone that is barely doing it for a living Sorry I mean it was I don’t know how not
to do it yeah exactly how do I know you should have done it yeah
I was gonna say it if he didn’t yeah I don’t know anything like from our like
booking like booking at johncriscomedy.com and somebody’s like hey we saw you last night our youth
group has a lock in next it fall can you cut I like that you saw what I did and
you thought I could I would do that can you forward me that amen yes yeah I’ll do it yeah
you’re still gonna I yeah I think most of I think my agents get tons of offers
that are just insane where it’s someone’s like can you come to my house for 300 and oh that’s good yeah it’s not
it means you people and you know I don’t people just have no idea no idea yeah uh
so yeah you’re gonna get that kind of stuff I still I’ve had a uh like a but it’ll be like someone I
don’t know that doesn’t know me at all like there’s really happen now repeat nothing’s gonna say YouTube
full time but I still have people they’re like this is what you do like this is when they don’t know you at all and they just found out you’re a comic
it’s like uh that kind of stuff but it gets it wasn’t I remember it being
because they would just say it kind of down they were kind of like yeah it wasn’t like man and this is like you’re
uh you know you see you could be like obviously it’s your full-time get you know you just want to eat sun yeah it’s a tough thing to ask but it’s always
asked is like you do this full and you’re like all right man like you
know yeah I think we said you go you go you just saw the show he goes I know
this is what you do huh yeah what here’s 50 bucks people pay for this yeah
okay all right I guess I was new every day is it yeah yeah but the things that
you’re like joking about are very like regular things like eating McDonald’s
yeah or like those are things that like rich people don’t do uh
what’s your point Johnny McDonald’s no remember when we had that show at the golf course
yeah the very first we like Legends yeah yeah I was doing these jokes I had these jokes about fast food and then it’s all
the people at the golf course that are members of the country club and I go I was at McDonald’s and I go McDonald’s is
like a you know like and it was like hilarious because they were like they owned some McDonald’s yeah
it’s like a place where like people you ever seen them you’re like Ugh like that place you know yeah
but they would have still assumed that about you that I could meet all of us yeah I didn’t think I go I do go to
England but No Electronic somebody somebody uh
ordered one of the guys in the crew ordered uh ubereats to the tour bus this
weekend and I was like he was gonna go out and like I don’t I go hey give them
also this twenty dollars like tip them also this because they’re definitely
gonna go who’s in that bus yeah on the way home and see and think it’s you you ordered
it and me I go hey like also tip this yeah because yeah because it’s gonna
come back on me always man John Chris tipped a dollar yeah you just want to share that story about
tonight yeah well I had a couple other things that was the main thing on this yeah so I didn’t give him the hundred
thousand yeah but whatever else I’m talking about as long as I got that yeah it wasn’t 500 worth of food
for 20 bucks where were you at I was in uh Atlanta I
did a show for uh Dunwoody Christian School had to wear a suit for the first time on stage yeah how’d you like that
first I did not like it but I got used to it yeah how long were you up there
this is like the joke yeah yeah you know first and care for it but then
I really settled in there towards the end this weekend he’s out in a suit yeah yeah I would love to wear a suit yeah
well you could nobody stopped you
you probably have like cool comfy shoes with a suit I just had these very tight dress shoes who are very uncomfortable
and I was slipping around up there but why did you have to wear a suit it was a soiree event I didn’t know what a swore
it was I thought it sounds funny yeah oh yeah I mean there’s a party I don’t know
apparently but I said it looked like it was kind of fancy so I eat my bloody twos before and I said hey just what’s
the tire from so you didn’t have to wear a suit yeah you did and she said um and I thought maybe I should wear
sports because she said um it’s a cocktail dress event so she said you don’t have to wear tux but a
suit will be fine um no there’s the Headmaster was wearing a
tux and maybe one other person everybody else had today you probably look just like a teacher there but you walked in
with a suit I did and you had to the audience is like guys he remember teacher is a comedian you do Comedy full
time that was what it was the lady who hired me yeah
I always say that about like whatever I was like yeah but I’m I’m the comedian so I don’t well I’m not in these rules
you you that’s a that’s a true argument because that that can be done I feel
uncomfortable yeah about like sometimes I’ll feel uncomfortable like everybody’s really if everybody’s wearing a suit I
would want to know that happened and I might not where did uh in Houston yeah was I wearing a suit no but
you you told one of your people yeah hey next time let me know yes I go just tell me and I I guess you might not wear a
tie but I’d maybe wear I would wear a pool you know I mean what is it the a coat a jacket or something like that
yeah yeah sports sports jacket you know sport laser a Blazer yeah that’s clear
there it is I would own one I bet I would have done that like just so you
don’t look like a buffoon right yeah and then I’m going up there in jeans and a jacket with a hoodie on you know and
then you’re like oh dude I don’t know everybody’s in Texas but I’ve wore a suit on stage a few times I I definitely
don’t mind it I would you know maybe maybe once I pass 50 I’ll flip
well John Mulaney does that’s the only guy I know that like that always does right it’s the obviously burned us
yeah that’s like part of the like I know there’s like uh every there’s like all
Comics that have like dresses like their like bow tie my good one is like bow tie
comedy or like the I know the the guy with the tie I know that he was the he was like in in uh what was he in Denver
when I was coming up it was the guy with the tie and I was like he wore a vest that was like kind of the thing Steve
hofstetter’s yeah yeah it’s like part of your thing there’s another guy in New York he was from Chattanooga but he
uh I know now that uh Pat Dixon what did he
wear suit yeah you know it was worse too yeah yeah but it’s like it’s kind of part of the like Derek who comes out
with us all the time we wear it’s very that’s like part like the jokes make more sense because of yeah absolutely oh
how he’s dressed like JD strength coach yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah and he’s
talking about kids being real Trent not kids but like when I was like that it it lines up yeah yeah they did uh yeah I
would I my ACT I never felt like a suit act yeah yeah it’s like it didn’t really
feel like it’s Brian I think you get older yeah it smells like a suit smart yeah intelligent intelligent Regal yeah
it’s easy to show the audience that he has made money before
yeah I want to see if they can do everything Emmy’s funeral show one suit
like graduation graduation yeah where were you at I was in Texas I did a
fun run all through Texas Dallas Houston and then San Antonio for the weekend A lot of people came out man yeah it was
very fun Dallas that club how come he’s allowed to say that no one says anything to him and I said one thing about tipping twenty dollars and I get crushed
I always said a lot of people came out yeah uh because not we don’t he’s just starting to do that
we’re letting him have some run with it you know I did a club on a Wednesday night so a lot of people came back yeah
look he got made twenty dollars there were some curtains closed yeah all weekend oh yeah they’re closing curtains
no but I love a curtain they didn’t even have a curtain yeah
clothes San Antonio one show they opened up the curtains that’s a good feeling yeah yeah oh that’s nice yeah and then
the next show you’re like let’s put them back up yeah you know but I did uh PPG Arena they had the top curtain on the
very top row behind me um it’s not even not even Ford because
yeah and they had a big curtain go down the middle so it could be like 300
people or it could be cut down to like 120 or something and I mean it was just
such a long you would just know when it’s your time to go to the show and then just see someone just like carrying
the car yeah yeah yeah and it just being all shut down we’ll be fine yeah what if a lot of walk-ups come trust me we’re
good we’re good yeah yeah I think I pipe and drape on curtains on the fifth row of one of my shows one time
I’m at a church there was no they put them in the fifth row and I was like yeah but they came in from behind them
yeah so they know this church is huge and they just put it
right on the fifth round the stage is deeper than the yeah this doesn’t help yeah because I can put
them on any row just yeah because the churches whatever 2 000 seats and there’s
60 people there maybe wow maybe and you’re like just let’s do another room yeah or just y’all just come sit on
stage yeah yeah just do it in the lobby and set the seats I’ve had I’ve done a show where it was we just put the people
on stage because there was that little of people really yeah that it was it was enough that it goes we’re just gonna
close the curtain completely yeah the curtain on the stage and just set chairs up behind the curtain and then you just
do a show in front of those people in the stage I’ve seen I’ve done a show that short and then uh I did an arena in
uh Canada and uh when you walk to it so if you ever you know you go to imagine
going any sold out arena show uh and the stage is at the very end yeah right and
then everybody sits out forward if you’ve been to music anything you can picture that ours was set up like that
but I performed on the side that’s usually the thing that’s closed it was
yeah I walked in dude and my stage was just jammed up against the basic hockey
and you’re just talking to like a very sporadic group of people they were very
wonderful but it was I remember the people that were there were great I remember walking into the arena and it
took usually from backstage you’re to the front pretty quickly this one they
had oh yeah oh yeah oh they had multiple semi trucks just parked backstage that’s
how much room they had backstage and I mean they could have made it they could have made a turn that’s how like there
wasn’t yeah they wouldn’t have had to back it they’re like just swing it around hey we could turn all the way around yeah I heard somebody say on a
podcast I think recently they go if a comedian they go if I knew this successful comment because if I knew
I if I had to do it all over again I I couldn’t like if you had this guy couldn’t do it
it was so yes all those all that stuff is so emotionally all those colleges and
all those soirees like it’s just so emotionally taxing that you got I
couldn’t do it let’s do so many things in life yeah yeah I wouldn’t I couldn’t do it again no children yeah I think
it’s uh you
yeah bad news baby do it again uh it’s uh no but yeah it would be just because
when you do it the first time you can’t believe you’re even doing shows yeah yeah I mean stuff stuff still stuff
hurts and it’s brutal yeah but uh when you have when you’re not selling when it doesn’t really matter about selling
tickets because you’re just you’re just not at the point where yeah that’s expected yeah you but to go yeah go back
to that stuff now I mean it would like we did that we did the the Elkhart County Fair and like all like leading up
to it it’s like we’re selling like average of What I sell in the city and they were like yeah
but the it’s did you do ever do one with me I did the Washingtons yeah they were like well the the it’s on the race track
and there it’s an 18 000 seats oh yeah like
I go but we’re selling well like three four thousand yeah and I you should be three
times yes a ton and I’m like for three months I go all my buddies are like dude
we we’re coming I go don’t come yeah it’s it’s so big it’s it makes it looks
so big yeah I did when I first did the San Diego Fair it was great but I was my
stage was pushed all the way to the end of the grandstand yeah so you just they
just push you all the way you wouldn’t be in the middle you’re just like yeah you’re just like a corner of the grandson because based on how many
tickets they sold they set the stage that night and how far basically yeah yeah probably a little bit before they
knew yeah they were like I don’t think we’re about to have 10 000 walk-ups sorry ten thousand people a year yeah
yeah so and it always ends up it probably always ends up everything you’re stressed about it ends up great yeah the show’s in good Fair there’s
always that it’s fine fares are hard because you think because they are so big I mean it can be a stadium type
thing oh yeah where you do a fair where you want to go I don’t know if I’m this famous to be doing yeah some of these
big thanks for putting me on the roster with all these other yeah Keith Urban and like all these other mods yeah but
Alaska State Fair was great yeah but that was like 3 000 or something like that which was so many great how big was
the thing it was about I mean it was packed where he did it was uh I’m sure
they can make it yeah bigger but it was like very set up very well so just when everybody listening when they when
somebody artist a musician or Comedian says we found some we added some more
seats that means they thought it was going to be this and they just popped
them back one section yeah right well whatever I say a few tickets left that
means yeah yeah there’s a lot of tickets yeah yeah you’ll have no trouble I did radio and they’re like hey are you gonna
be in Houston any tickets left for the shows I think there’s a couple yeah go fast yeah a few too many
tickets are going fast the curtain are they yeah but usually some people say we just
opened up uh tickets some of that is like you have comps and y’all and they released it could be a sort out show
yeah that goes we just opened up 12 tickets because whatever doesn’t Taylor Swift I think she’s she just puts them
behind and they just have a screen behind
I think behind you’re like you can get in there less but there’s like a thousand people show up just to stand
outside the arena yeah I’ve seen those videos that’s insane like on the bridge and yeah yeah I mean when we first

got an interception we got to we could just kick it now if we wanted to it was that close to then you don’t think you
could ever lose and that’s what you think you can go to overtime we’re going to overtime we call I’m sorry we called
it time out remember also we could have just let the clock run out at least go to overtime and we call it a timeout I don’t
remember that in the coach was like who called the time out yeah and then the next play they throw a bomb

percentage is like 97. I don’t think I’d ever give us over 40. they’re like I
mean if you’re a qualified I mean I look I love Clark Lee and I I hope they if
any turns all this stuff around we’ve had problems that they like when we meet him and our buddy Ryan text about vanity
but like we have problems that go beyond uh oh can you there it is can you look

before that yeah they’re 20. they don’t know who he is right so much less even
if a person is born in 97 98 which is a 24 year old uh I have a 30 year old is
like they would have been a baby yeah they they wouldn’t have even seen yeah they might know him as Joey Bishop’s
sidekick on the Joey Bishop show 1967. are they going to know Rudy yeah
um Rudy’s just there’s so many memes of Rudy like the the reason that any of
them know anything now is because the memes Harper will know some scene from some movie because of a meme so I don’t
know if Rudy has made it to the meme world but I think Rudy has a better chance with the younger generation that
reaches I would say well she’s saying Regis Philbin but I’m thinking about you
know I’m trying to do a joke on this but it’s stuff’s older than you you hit a point where you go oh like it’s I live

for the bigger gentleman you would have a walking cooler at your home that you can go cool off in I said if I had all
the money in the world I could start building stuff like that in my house I built a walk-in freezer yeah yeah to
just walk in there because he gets so hot during the day that he would want to then come home and walk in a cooler

who’s your favorite comic they would say Bill hit at the Laughing Skull they have the Bill Hicks rules yeah comedy back in

Rolling Stones list of top comics of all time really yeah Bill hick as of 2017.
oh anyway so Georgia well some other famous people uh Jimmy Carter oh yeah oh I guess he’s

it is and you think the NBA is real right but then remember when Kobe this is way off in Tangent remember when Kobe
Bryant was gonna play with Dwight Howard and Chris Paul for the Lakers and they said yeah no
what do you mean no they were like that’s what that was within the rules but they go no this is
gonna mess up the entertainment product remember they just said no you can’t do that for that I don’t either then it

stop to it but even going back to the running what you want to watch sport because it’s but there’s nothing in sport that

so in the 80s and 90s the Athens Georgia was like the big rock scene REM
Widespread Panic B-52s okay we weren’t allowed to go there
because of that yeah it was more like a party scene it was like uh yeah kids that was like because it was a college kids that weren’t Christian yeah for
sure Athens yeah yeah no but like Seattle had the grunge scene but then
after this could have had its own scene right a little bit yeah there’s a lot of bars there actually it’s one of the Premier probably college towns yeah yeah
but anyway where is where do you ever see Vanderbilt kids uh like around town where are they
I remember they would go to like more when I was in college like a lot of Vanderbilt kids they’d go to bars like
on Broadway that kind of area yeah yeah they go down to Broadway set you see what Sacco a lot
I’m just we’re in a different age bracket yeah than their bars yeah I mean I’ve been in a bar and I’m like I’m the
oldest person here and I don’t like the feeling of that so I get out of there yeah I was like you know good like you
go to Knoxville or like oh these are all the oh they’re those are all I guess I guess that’s a college town it’s not a
college town yeah uh that’s probably yeah I mean that what Nashville is just it’s going to be so many people now there’s so many people that I mean how
big is a school uh not not the event not it’s not a big school but it’s uh eight
or nine thousand I think yeah but it’s it’s gonna be now so many people are downtown let’s bachelorette parties that
you’re seeing versus yeah you know vanity kids some of the 7100 kids really
undergraduate yeah yeah not that many
uh Atlantis but kind of replace Hollywood as uh movies and TV shows yeah that’s

scenes and they had it was on the you know the huge screen behind it but they were all acting at an arena yeah it was awesome and he was in it yeah but it was
like I mean there’s 15 they were like two different like scenes yeah of like the show but they were live and it was
you know I’m not trying to say this in a in a in a way that would make sense but like some of the jokes I was out on yeah
I just didn’t get them right because a lot of Black Culture I go I was like asking around like what’s that one yeah
you know yeah yeah but is it woman up there yeah I go see it yeah oh oh okay yeah yeah or a lot of the stuff maybe I
didn’t follow the show but it was incredible packed yeah like bought his own studio and he just
makes it all of his own movies yeah it’s great I think I was watching Madea Christmas and Larry the Cable Guy’s in it have you
ever seen it no okay yeah you’re like no John and he was like yeah they just called me up and we went down there for like two
days and like he just Rift he’s like I ripped all of my lines I watched one of them too and I I uh
it’s very uh it’s nice to watch it’s not trying to be super complicated and all
this it’s just purely just that’s why so many people go watch it because it’s just a fun
it’s a fun unbelievable time yeah like you know
this little fool thinks she’s getting a pony oh I’m gonna go watch this movie tonight
uh we can handle some sports yeah are you old enough to remember Sid Breen oh
yeah 1991. I was in my uh I was in my kitchen we didn’t have a TV at the time
it was weren’t allowed because television uh the devil was gonna get into our house through the TV so we had
a radio and we had all I would have been seven years old we all gathered around the kitchen and that’s a diff that’s an

to the plate yeah everybody knows that one and we were listening on the radio and I never knew what think about this I

many years later I saw the I saw the play uh-huh like I saw the TV
like review and I was like that is different than what I had in my mind and what that what was happening
I think that’s something thank you so much to it’s not a bad thing to or like it have moments like that that
you visualize you have to visualize it instead of just it being well then you see it yeah it’s like reading a book and
not watching the movie yeah yeah or like did you guys you guys probably don’t know what this is Adventures in Odyssey
you know what that is I’ve heard of it it’s like a kids but it’s a radio show and it was about this town and all these
characters and everybody’s version of it is wildly different because you make up what the local store
is like you make up without you made it all up in your head that’s interesting and that’s better than any movie that would ever exist yeah and you saw the
movie like 10 years later you go ah bummer but if you’re like really dumbed and like it’s it’s not good in your head
you know what I mean dang I didn’t think about that yeah yeah we had if you want someone smart but you don’t but but do

There’s a comic that I know like that that he just puts out clips and I go

but what John is saying what does he own the difference yeah what’s the difference if he does not even aware of reality yeah maybe he does win that’s
what I’m saying I think he does win I know this guy we I follow this guy on Tick Tock just for this he’s a musician
and he like performs it like local like gazebos and parks and he thinks he is
Justin Timberlake right and he’s like I am and it’s awesome it’s like a blind

there’s something no like that’s what I would think you would do that you’re like well that’s like a blonde man with

yeah so he doesn’t know he better so it is mine so why not why doesn’t it why does it just let him think of it does it
matter what’s objectively true about it it’s only a matter of how he perceives yeah that’s deep think about it you know what I mean yeah and we should all be
